There are several options to show your cards after a hand is over.
This is a discussion on ACR auto muck within the online poker forums, in the Poker Rooms section; I played ACR a while back. I see the site has removed the ability to show your cards. As a noun, muck refers to the discards and other dead cards piled in front of the dealer. In most poker games, once a card is discarded or misdealt, it is out of play for the remainder of the hand. It is the dealer's responsibility to collect these 'dead cards' and keep them face down in a muck on the playing table.
The muck is the pile of discarded cards kept by the dealer during the course of a hand of poker. It is kept in front of the dealer, facedown, and generally on the same side of the table as the hand where the dealer holds the undealt deck. To muck a hand or a card is to toss it into the pile of discards. It means the same thing as discard. This hand is better left in the muck than overplayed. - Show / Muck Hands offers three relevant options:
- Muck Losing Hand: You will never show a losing hand and automatically muck it.
- Don't Show Winning Hand: Mucks your winning hand automatically when the other players fold to your raise.
- Don't Show When Folding Last: Mucks your hand automatically when you fold last.
Make sure that these options are not checked if you wish to show your cards.
If you're using a mobile device you can adjust the muck options by going to the menu (Android) or More (iOS), then:
- Settings & Tools
- Table Settings
- Automatically muck hands
If you're using the PokerStars Next Gen app:
- Select the Account button (icon on the top right of the lobby) to launch the Account panel.
- Choose Settings then Poker.
- Select Automatically muck hands.
Poker Muck Hand
To use this feature while in a game, when you're dealt into a hand, click on either pocket card. This will mark the card(s) you wish to show and they will overlap. When you are last required to take action and you want to fold, you can then click on Fold Show to show your folded hand to the table.
The option to actually show your winning hand will appear once the hand is over. The two options (You Won 'Don't Show Cards/Show Cards') will quickly appear on the screen and you need to click on Show cards to show them.
It will only be available for a moment before the system mucks the cards and deals the next hand. If you fail to choose either option, your hand will be mucked when the time runs out.
